Conference & Convention Childcare
On-site childcare for conferences and conventions
When parents can trust that their children are safe and engaged, they show up — and they stay. Call Emmy provides fully managed on-site childcare for conferences of all sizes.
The conference context
Why conferences need purpose-built childcare
Conference childcare is operationally different from a birthday party or a date night babysitting referral. Multi-day events, mixed age groups, unfamiliar venues, and attendees from out of town create a distinct set of requirements.
Parents attending conferences are professionals. They need to be fully present — not checking their phones every 20 minutes. That means childcare that is structured, professional, and verifiably safe. It also means a provider that can handle the logistics independently so your event team doesn't have to babysit the babysitters.
Call Emmy has provided on-site childcare for EthDenver (one of the largest crypto conferences in the United States), the Colorado Women's Bar Association Annual Convention, the Family Law Institute Annual Convention, and the American Academy of Forensic Scientists annual meeting, the Colorado Judiciary Convention, The Linux Foundation events, and The POD Network Convention. These aren't small gatherings — and we've operated each of them without incident.
What we provide
Conference childcare services
On-site childcare rooms
Fully staffed, age-appropriate childcare space at your venue or hotel. We coordinate with your event staff and venue contacts to set up before doors open.
Multi-day staffing
For conferences spanning 2–5 days, we manage scheduling, shift coverage, and daily logistics so care is consistent throughout your event.
Hotel babysitting for attendees
For evening dinners, receptions, and after-hours sessions, we place vetted caregivers in hotel rooms so traveling parents can participate.
VIP and speaker childcare
White-glove, dedicated care for keynote speakers, panelists, and sponsors traveling with children. One-on-one or small-group care, available the full event day.
Drop-in and registered models
We operate both pre-registered and drop-in childcare formats. We'll recommend the right model based on your expected attendance profile.
Activity programming
Structured, age-appropriate activities keep children engaged throughout long conference days. We bring supplies and plan programming for the full duration.

For event planners
What you need to know before booking
How early should I book?
For multi-day conferences, we recommend booking 4–8 weeks in advance. Single-day events can typically be confirmed with 2–3 weeks' notice. The earlier you confirm, the more flexibility we have in caregiver selection.
Do I need to provide space?
Yes. You'll need a dedicated room with appropriate floor space for the expected number of children. We'll provide specific room requirements (square footage, access, furniture) once we know your attendance profile.
How do I communicate childcare to my attendees?
We recommend announcing childcare availability in your registration flow and confirmation emails. We can provide copy and FAQ language on request. The earlier you communicate childcare availability, the more registrations you'll drive from parents who might otherwise opt out.
What about liability?
Call Emmy carries liability coverage for every event. We can provide a certificate of insurance (COI) naming your organization and venue upon request. Our safety and vetting protocols are documented and available upon request.
