Sitter costs
Calculated based on the market hourly rate and the number of sitters required at your event. Sitter costs can be passed to parents, subsidized, or entirely paid by the event organizer.

Staffing
Child-to-sitter ratios
Call Emmy staffs to these ratios at every event. Your total sitter count — and therefore sitter cost — is determined by the number and ages of children attending.

Minimum requirement: 2 sitters per event. Partial sitters are rounded up.
Other considerations
What to plan for
Parking
A daily parking voucher per sitter is required where applicable. Budget $25+ per sitter per day.
Space requirements
50+ sq ft per child of usable, unobstructed space is recommended. A nursery separated by a wall, divider, or partition is required for infants and younger children.

Food and drinks, the childcare location/room, TV, projector, computers, iPads, other electronics, and any medicine. These must be arranged by the event organizer or venue.
